This pencil has a 100 mm needle-nose tip. It goes into the gap, marks exactly where you need it, and comes back out.

Common Questions

Will it mark on metal and glass?
Yes. The leads are formulated to lay down a visible line on smooth, non-porous surfaces as well as timber.

How do I sharpen it?
The sharpener is built into the cap on top of the pencil — unscrew it, sharpen, screw it back. Nothing to lose.

Do the marks wipe off?
They're pencil marks, so they'll take a wipe or a sand on most surfaces. Fine for layout work, not intended as a permanent marker.

What refills does it take?
Eight are included in the box, and it takes standard carpenter-pencil refill leads when you run out.

Will it fit in a tool pouch?
